My Journey
- Life in the Army
- My adventure began in the army, where I served with dedication and pride. The discipline, teamwork, and resilience I developed during my military service have been invaluable in every aspect of my life. It was in the army that I first discovered my love for working with dogs. I had the privilege of working alongside military working dogs, witnessing their incredible skills, loyalty, and the profound bond they share with their handlers. This experience ignited a deep passion within me for understanding and training dogs.
- Transition to Civilian Life
- After completing my military service, I knew I wanted to continue working with dogs in a meaningful way. I pursued extensive training and education in dog behaviour and training techniques, becoming a certified dog trainer and behaviourist. My goal was to help dogs and their owners build strong, positive relationships based on trust and understanding.
- Becoming a Therapy Dog Trainer
- One of the most fulfilling aspects of my work has been training therapy dogs. These special animals have the ability to bring comfort, joy, and healing to those in need. Whether visiting hospitals, schools, or nursing homes, therapy dogs provide a unique form of support that can make a profound difference in people's lives. As a therapy dog trainer, I take great pride in preparing dogs and their handlers for this important role, ensuring they are well-equipped to bring positivity to various communities.
